“I am sincerely grateful for the affection, trust, support and votes with which members honoured me in the first e-CAB election and, later, in a BASIS election. I believe the real strength of a trade association is its members.”

To me e-CAB is not only a trade association. It is a platform for the prospects, expectations, rights and economic progress of the country’s e-commerce and F-commerce entrepreneurs.
01
Extend member services to divisions and districts, beyond a Dhaka centre. Work with the authorities to ease DBID, trade-licence and business-registration friction. Place entrepreneurs' policy problems and lived experience before government.
02
Work toward easier finance for small and new entrepreneurs. Special training, mentoring and business advice for women and young entrepreneurs. Practical programmes for legal help, digital marketing and the skills of running a business.
03
Press for transparent, entrepreneur-friendly courier and logistics rules. Clear rules on returns, return charges and compensation. A set time and accountability for cash-on-delivery settlement. An escrow system that balances the entrepreneur and the customer.
04
Policy work to ease receiving and settling international payments. Coordination on customs, export and international logistics. A wider path onto Amazon, eBay and other international marketplaces. Help for Bangladeshi products and brands to reach those markets.
05
Transparency and accountability in the association's work. Audited financial reports placed before members regularly. A working one-stop helpdesk for complaints, problems and suggestions. Members' views given weight in decisions and policy.
06
Help with business disputes and policy friction. Working contact with banks, payment gateways and service providers. Training, networking, investment links and partnerships for members. An e-CAB organised around the real problems of entrepreneurs.

I believe an entrepreneur’s success is not only a personal achievement. It carries the jobs of many people, the independence of their families, and the economic progress of the country.
